Re: Server status on the free email service

“We are aware that unfortunately there are still intermittent issues with the free email service provided to some clients. The Plesk email server issue is causing intermittent timeouts and slow downs in performance, we are continuing to investigate and believe that there could be further hardware and firmware issues, to avoid disruption during working hours we are monitoring and restarting the mail service when it slows down in performance which takes a few minutes but is back up as soon as possible and does mean that email delivery can be delayed a bit. We are also taking a full extra backup of the server today which may also make performance a bit slow so that out of hours the server can be taken offline and all hardware checked over so that we can finally fix the issue and restore the mail service performance to what it was before.”
