What's in the website catalogue function?

Feature-rich catalogue can be used for products or events and includes the following functions:

• Add/edit/enable/disable unlimited items to your catalogue that can be used for either products, events, classes/lessons, properties or vehicles, etc. hereinafter “product” will refer to whatever one type of item is stored in the catalogue).
• Products [catalogue items] are grouped into “Categories” – you can add unlimited categories and products can be associated with one category.
• Product filtering: There are 5 optional filtering levels to allow visitors to hone their results, 4 of these are editable and would be dependent on the type of product in the catalogue (i.e. Size, Colour, Make, Model, Area, Duration, etc.). The additional filter is 'price' with editable price bands.
• Product search facility (single word search) and the grid/list of products can be sorted by title, price, newest/oldest and featured.
• Products can be flagged as featured products and these selected products can show on an optional featured products bar that can be turned on/off on each CMS page in the site.
• Set a number of days a new product will be flagged as “new” (i.e. if the new products are set to show for 7 days, new products will be flagged as “new” for 7 days after you add them. New products also appear on a special “New Products” page – if there are no new products this page doesn't show.
• Set the product results page to be either a grid or list layout.
• Add unlimited images, a video and a PDF for download (i.e. User Manual, or Sample Lease or Energy Certificate) for each product.
• Set a manual stock message for each product (i.e. “Available” or “Low Stock” will stay as set by the administrator unless changed by the administrator). Note: there's no automatic stock level.
• Add a numerical price to each product with an optional extension such as “per month” or “each” or “per dozen”. Alternatively, the product can have a text message in the pricing field such as “POA”. You can also check a box to append “ex VAT” to the price.
• Add event/course/lesson dates which include start time and date and end time and date (the end date is optional).
• Choose to show an 'action' for each product:
  • “No Action” (no button or enquiry form),
  • "Enquire About" (shows an enquiry form that expands when the “Enquire About” button is tapped/clicked),
  • “Buy Now” (shows a button that allows you to paste 'Buy It Now' payment code from PayPal or Stripe to allow single product purchases for eCommerce).
• Add up to 4 tabs of descriptive content – typically these might be “description”, “specifications”, “contents”, “warranty”, etc.
• Export the product list via the admin area.
